First it's the health care workers, then restaurant workers, then anyone else that has public exposure. Soon you will be stopped in your vehicle and on the treets; armed officers checking for vaccinations. And if you refuse? If you say NO to the government piercing your skin and filling you with an untested substance? What then? Will you be allowed to go about your way?
If this sounds crazy, just ask the health care workers that will lose their jobs how crazy it is.
"Workers are being told to either get the swine flu vaccine or lose their jobs.
New York is the first state in the country to mandate flu vaccinations for its health care workers. The first doses of swine flu vaccine will be available beginning next week. Much of it is reserved for state health care workers, but there is growing opposition to required innoculations.
Health care workers in Hauppauge screamed "No forced shots!" as they rallied Tuesday against the state regulation requiring them to roll up their sleeves."
My Church is beginning to splinter. The Catholics that follow the true teachings of the Church as evidenced in the Bible, the Catechism and the writings of the Fathers are actively seeking out parishes led by conservative, faithful priests. Those that believe in the things the American Bishops seem to endorse are grouping together in their parishes. There will soon be a shattering of the Church in America and then the world, pitting loyal traditional Catholics against the rest. A counter Reformation of sorts.
I believe that this will usher in an era when all of real Christendom will join back together to fight the forces of evil. We are entering a time of clear choices. Evil will no longer be hidden in the shadows but visible for all to see. We will be held accountable for the choices we make.
I know someone that works with a family member of an employee at Royal Gate. She called this morning when her co-worker heard about this. There was supposed to have been a meeting at the dealership today regarding financial issues. Are these issues related to the unfortunate suicide of Mr. Van Hoogsrtaat? Regardless, pray for his soul. While suicide is objectively sinful one can never know the state of someones mind.
I'm afraid we will be seeing a lot more of this in the future.
"John Van Hoogstraat, 63, was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head on Monday inside Stella Blues, a south city bar he co-owned.
According to a police spokesperson, officers found Van Hoogstraat at 3 p.m. Monday inside his bar at 3269 Morganford, just south of Tower Grover Park.
Stella Blues closed for business earlier this summer. Van Hoogstraat was also part-owner of the restaurant Three Monkeys restaurant, a few blocks further north on Morganford.
An obit that appeared today in the Post-Dispatch says that Van Hoogstraat was the:
"president/owner of Royal Gate Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Inc. for 26 years and in the automotive business for 40 years and entrepreneur of other successful business ventures".
I hope that these guys that lost their jobs today watch the major news networks so that they can hear how the economy is improving, every thing's coming up roses. Why does anyone believe that the bizarre upswing in the stock market has any bearing on the real economic health of this country? I'm getting damned tired of listening to the lies.
"GM announced Wednesday it plans to shutdown the Saturn brand after a deal fell through to sell the line to Penske Automotive Group. Penske started formal discussions about purchasing Saturn June 5th and since then has been working out the details. The deal was expected to close in the coming days. Penske planned to have GM make the vehicles for a period of time, then move to another manufacturer.
In a statement, Penske said it negotiated with a third party manufacturer, but that company’s board of directors rejected the deal. So Penske pulled out because of the uncertainty of where it would get future products.
GM CEO Fritz Henderson said in statement that Saturn and its dealership network will be phased out. Dealers said they were shocked by the news.
Saturn got its start in Spring Hill, Tennessee. It launched its first fuel-efficient four-door in 1990 as an answer to the Japanese imports that were gaining market share."
But we continue to spend money we don't have and try to create panic where there is no reason for it. Why? For profit and control. Don't take the vaccine!!
"The World Health Organization, the UN agency (ir-) responsible for declaring a Phase 6 “PANDEMIC” global alert over what it calls H1N1 Influenza A or Swine Flu, whose chief Dr Margaret Chan has repeatedly warned that while Swine Flu to date had been rather mild, that the emergency declaration was necessary because it “could mutate” aggressively into a deadly pandemic killing millions, now admits well into the flu season in the Northern Hemisphere that H1N1 has apparently not mutated.
Margaret Chan, the head of the World Health Organization, at a meeting with health officials in her native Hong Kong has just stated that the swine flu virus has not yet mutated into a more deadly strain. WHO Director of the Initiative for Vaccine Research, Dr Marie-Paule Kieny reinforced that statement in a press conference September 24 in Geneva when she stated, “we are lucky that the pandemic is moderate in severity that most people experience a mild illness and recover spontaneously.” That means recovery with no vaccination, no Tamiflu or other dangerous ”antiviral” drugs. Just with letting nature take its course."
I'm glad to see the Vatican finally starting to show some frustration at the obvious focus on its problems at the exclusion of the same problem with other groups. This child abuse needs to be stopped, everywhere. Furthermore, I'm glad to see this being truthfully identified as a homosexual problem inside the Church. If it were truly pedophilia we would see abuse of young girls as well as boys, just like we are seeing with the abuse inside the education community.
I hope this helps the Church understand something else; the U.N. is not your friend. The Church has been spending a lot of time there recently, holding hands and singing Kumbaya about global warming and "social justice". The U.N. wants the Church destroyed and will see it done. It is not your friend. Disassociate yourself from its lies and socialist policies before it's too late.
"The Vatican has lashed out at criticism over its handling of its paedophilia crisis by saying the Catholic church was "busy cleaning its own house" and that the problems with clerical sex abuse in other churches were as big, if not bigger.
In a defiant and provocative statement, issued following a meeting of the UN human rights council in Geneva, the Holy See said the majority of Catholic clergy who committed such acts were not paedophiles but homosexuals attracted to sex with adolescent males."
"Though Bishop William F. Murphy of Rockville Centre, N.Y., concedes there's no political will in Washington to include illegal immigrants in health care reform, he believes it's the country's moral obligation to ensure that everyone in the nation receives proper medical care."
It is the moral obligation of the individual citizen to provide for the poor through charitable donations and activities. It is not the moral obligation of the state. The state has no resources with which to provide these services. All money that the state has access to belongs to its citizens and is only available to the state through taxation. So it looks as though the Bishop is saying the state should forcefully confiscate personal wealth to redistribute as it sees fit. This sounds like Communism to me; or maybe we should just call it "social justice".
"That includes those who enter the country illegally, he told Catholic News Service in mid-September.
"I agree that there is a special problem with those who have entered here without the permission of the United States, and that has to be looked at," said Bishop Murphy, who chairs the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops' Committee on Domestic Justice and Human Development. "But that's a problem unto itself."
So, the Bishop would sanction the theft of personal property (tax dollars) by those that have lied and cheated to sneak into the country illegally. Seems to be awfully anxious to toss more than a few of those pesky commandments in the trash. But really, what are Gods laws when you are looking at the greater good, "social justice".
"Most U.S. Catholic bishops who have spoken publicly about health care reform have expressed the opinion that one of the richest countries in the world should find a way to guarantee that everyone within its borders has access to medical care, from conception to natural death."
THE COUNTRY IS BROKE!!!! Yet the U.S. bishops would like to see a new civil right created, the right to healthcare. God didn't see fit to create this right but then I guess the Bishops will explain to Him the error of His ways.
Several Hispanic bishops met with members of the House and Senate Sept. 17 to convey their concern that immigrants -- legal and illegal -- might be left out of health reform.
Bishop Jaime Soto of Sacramento, Calif., said that in addition to President Barack Obama's pledge not to provide government-funded care to people in the country illegally, concerns have been expressed that even legal immigrants might be left out of the system.
Bishop Soto said the exclusion of government-supported insurance for undocumented immigrants is an issue with which the bishops might disagree, but could concede as a political necessity. But the legislation "has to include at a minimum some kind of safety net for the undocumented," particularly if the goal of a nationwide health care reform plan is to improve the overall health of society, he said.
"We realize it's a very contentious issue," Bishop Soto said. "But there has to be some kind of a safety net."
If undocumented immigrants cannot participate in health insurance, he added, "they will end up in emergency rooms."
Which is where they will end up anyway. Why would someone that is in the country illegally pay premiums to a health program when the very act of paying those premiums would expose him to legal scrutiny that he needs to avoid? The only solution to this will be that the government will not require any sort of proof of insurance from illegals but will treat them gratis, using taxpayer money to cover the cost. Ain't "social justice" grand?
"Bishop Murphy said Catholic hospitals will not turn illegal immigrants away if they don't have medical insurance, but he believes it will be more cost-effective if the undocumented are given an opportunity to buy into an affordable health insurance plan.
On "the issue of health care, if it leaves out immigrants, it is doing what some people want it to do in terms of the unborn," he said.
"How can we say that we're a country of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all who come to our shores if we say, 'except the unborn.' Or, if we say, 'except the handicapped.' Or, if we say, 'except the new person,'" Bishop Murphy said. "Then we have not lived up to the high ideal of our country. And we have introduced a sense of injustice into a plan that should be just for all."
WE ARE NOT SAYING EXCEPT THE NEW PERSON!!!! WE ARE SAYING EXCEPT THE ILLEGAL PERSON!!!! The Declaration of Independence says that all men have certain inalienable rights, among them life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It does not say we are a country of these things. These are God given rights, not part of some half baked "social justice" program. The Bishop doesn't seem to understand our real rights while all the while trying his best to create a new one out of thin air and Marxist fantasies.
The Progressives normally scream anytime a cleric gets anywhere near a political issue, especially abortion. I guess they are willing to make an exception for health control.
Let's see, what other reasons could the government have to shut down web traffic? Someone disagrees with the party in power? A TEA Party may be forming? The text of a bill may be published? Pelosi says something arrogant, again?
"If hackers take over a nuclear plant's control system, should the president order the computer networks shut down? If there's a terrorist attack, should the government knock users off other computer networks to ensure that critical systems stay online? And should the government be able to dictate who companies can hire and what they must do to secure the networks that affect Americans' daily life."
"If Zbigniew Brzezinski had his way, the US would go to war against Israel to defend Iran's nuclear installations.
In an interview with the Daily Beast Web site last weekend, the man who served as former US president Jimmy Carter's national security adviser said, "They [IAF fighter jets] have to fly over our airspace in Iraq. Are we just going to sit there and watch? We have to be serious about denying them that right. If they fly over, you go up and confront them. They have the choice of turning back or not."
Brzezinski has long distinguished himself as one of the most outspoken Israel-haters in polite circles in Washington. Under normal circumstances, his remarks could be laughed off as the ravings of a garden variety anti-Semite. But these are not normal circumstances. Brzezinski served as a senior foreign policy adviser to Barack Obama during his 2008 presidential campaign, and his views are not terribly out of place among Obama's senior advisers in the White House. In an interview in 2002, Samantha Powers, who serves as a senior member of Obama's national security council, effectively called for the US to invade Israel in support of the Palestinians."
When our President sat in the pew for 20 years, listend to and one would have to imagine, agreed with, this:
“The Israelis have illegally occupied Palestinian territories for over 40 years now. Divestment has now hit the table again as a strategy to wake the business community and wake up Americans concerning the injustice and the racism under which the Palestinians have lived because of Zionism." Rev. Jeremiah Wright
Why is the Catholic Church involving itself in this one world power grab? In this one story we've got it all; social justice, the unfairness of one country having more than another and redistribution of wealth. Oh, and don't forget the melting glaciers.
How did charity cease to be a personal act of generosity and penance and become a state mandated obligation? Doesn't this negate the very good that charity should do for the individual? And show me in the Bible or the Tradition of the Church anyplace where fairness is elevated to a human right or even an expectation.
While we're at it, show me conclusive evidence that the earth is warming and further that if it is, man has caused it. God built this thing to have some variation in climate as it has throughout its history; sometimes warmer, sometimes cooler. Does the Church propose that we put ourselves in the place of God and attempt to control His creation?
All of this is done under the umbrella of social justice, that Utopian crap that says we should all expect equal outcome, regardless of effort applied, because unequal results just aren't fair. Johnny may not have crossed the line first but he really, really tried so he should get a blue ribbon, too.
Johnny deserves what he earned, no more, no less. NOW, THAT'S JUSTICE! I will never, ever as long as I live earn the money that Donald Trump has earned. I may not be as smart or as gifted and I know I don't want to work that hard. So why should I have any claim over his money? He worked for it, he earned it. How would justice be served by my taking any of it? Just the opposite; I would be stealing his property which is the very definition of injustice. Yet proponents of social justice, seemingly including the leaders of my Church, would have us believe just the opposite.
What is truth; where is justice? The answers to these questions have been distorted and muddied to such an extent that they no longer have any meaning.
"Climate change is more than an environmental concern; it is an issue of justice that merits immediate attention by world leaders. This was the message delivered repeatedly by Catholic participants in the Sept. 22 U.N. Summit on Climate Change in New York.
"It is unfair that people in developing countries pay the consequences for problems that rich countries have created," said ElyzabethPeredo, director of the Solon Foundation in Bolivia, at a Sept. 22 press conference. As an example, she said Bolivia generates only 0.1 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions, but melting glaciers caused by the warming effect of emissions worldwide endanger crops for small-scale farmers in communities throughout the country's Andes mountains.
The proposals now under discussion at the United Nations set goals and targets for international investment in adaptation technologies to help countries withstand climate change."
World governance based on "human values". What in the hell is a human value? Is there some objective criteria here? Or do we base our laws on the whims of someones interpretation of some ephemeral "human value"? What is truth? Under this system, THERE IS NO TRUTH!! There are only lies and manipulation. Can you complain when you believe you have been wronged? To whom or what do you appeal? The natural law and historically accepted norms of human behavior? These will no longer be valid because they will not suit the subjective reality that our world governors find most useful. We are looking at the world designed by Satan to subjugate and destroy mankind.
"The crisis that we face is not just an economic crisis. It is a crisis for the values of our societies.
At the G-20 summit in Pittsburgh this week, world leaders must respond by demonstrating our commitment to a greener, more ethical, more equitable, and better-balanced world economy.
This "new globalization" requires global governance, based on universal human values and reflecting the reality of economic interdependence. The G-20 gives us the chance to shape globalization. The chance to develop a sustainable model to replace the one brought to its knees by the failure of financial markets."
This is from memory so forgive any errors. I read once that during WWI the military realized that soldiers were hesitant to fire on the enemy when first deployed. They determined that the taking of a human life is something that we are programmed to resist; it is not in our nature to kill each other. To counteract this resistance targets were redesigned to be in the shape of a person, just like the ones we use today. The military found that shooting at human shaped targets desensitized soldiers to killing real people and made them less likely to resist doing their duty.
Is it possible that training in American towns will be used to desensitize American soldiers to being deployed on our soil and attacking their fellow Americans?
Shouldn't someone be asking this question?
"The Marines are landing in our backyard.
2,300 Marines are converging on this region for two weeks of intensive training in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
Part of the training involves exercises in small cities in Kentucky and southern Indiana. Simulated missions will take place in Frankfort late next week.
Beginning today, you may see Marine aircraft in the skies. They include the Cobra and Chinook helicopters and Osprey tilt-rotor aircraft.
The Marines, from Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, will base their training at Camp Atterbury in southern Indiana."
The commercial real estate market is beginning to crumble. This may be the next bubble to pop.
"Luxury hotel owners risk defaulting on their debt as the recession cuts occupancies and the credit crunch constrains refinancing.
Loans secured by more than 1,500 hotels with a total outstanding balance of $24.5 billion may be in danger of default, according to Realpoint LLC, a credit rating company that tracks commercial mortgage-backed securities. Some of the biggest loans, put on the company’s watch list because of late payments, decreasing occupancies or cash flow, were made to luxury properties where rooms can cost more than $850 a night."
Nearly 2 million right wing hate mongers from the TEA Parties converged on Washington to protest health control and not one person was arrested. The left sends a handful to the G-20 and we have tear gas and riots.
I'm sure proud to be a right wing hate monger.
"Anti-G20 protesters rampaged through the city centre of Pittsburgh tonight, smashing up shops and throwing rocks at police, as officers used tear gas and baton-charges in an attempt to bring them under control.
In riots which continued through evening rush hour, about 300 protesters were reported to have remained from an initial crowd of 2,000 in Bloomfield, Pittsburgh’s Little Italy." Time Online
We seem to be living in times of events of truly Biblical dimensions. Is it possible that the Church, separated since 1054, may be about to join together once again? Will we see both halves of the body, the mystical east and the scholarly west, the spiritual and material, the reflection of our human nature and the divine nature of God brought together to restore harmony and balance, power and truth, to a Church nearly destroyed by corruption both inside and out? Pray for the restoration of the Church established by Christ with all the power and purpose He intended. Pray also for those that would set this right. The forces of evil are playing for keeps. It's now or never for them and they know it. They will do whatever they think necessary to thwart the plans of God and destroy those that are doing His will.
"A storm is about to be unleashed on the Pope, the Vatican, and, by extension, the Catholic Church.
The first drops of rain have just fallen, with public accusations that the Pope lied this winter in connection with the "Williamson affair." (see below)
============================
What is it about?
Whether this storm will "blow over," or intensify into a "perfect storm," only time will tell.
But whatever happens, there is this to keep in mind: many, inside and outside of the Church, would like the Church's traditional liturgy, known as the Latin Mass -- the old liturgy celebrated up until 1970, and two years ago designated by Pope Benedict XVI as the "extraordinary rite" of the Mass -- to disappear.
And they are irritated that Benedict -- against many and vociferous objections -- "restored" the old liturgy, which many thought had been buried definitively.
As strange as it may seem, this battle is in part about that -- about the survival of the Church's old liturgy -- about her way of worshipping God.
But when I say this, I do not mean to downplay other, quite obvious concerns, for example, the tense situation in the Middle East, or in the world economy.
I mean to say that, on a fundamental level, it is not simply a political or economic battle, as important as political and economic factors are, but a spiritual battle.
===============================
Is Rome alone?
And at a time like this, when many forces in the West (the European Union, the new US administration) seem to be aligning themselves in favor of a thoroughly secularized "new world order," the ally most helpful to Rome may well be the ally who still celebrates a divine liturgy which has not been modernized: the Orthodox.
And the most numerous and powerful of the Orthodox are the Russians.
In this perspective, these attacks on the Pope and the Vatican may drive Rome to ally herself, after a thousand years of separation, with Contantinople, and with Moscow -- reuniting the "three Romes"..."
I predict that with the nearly bottomless pit of money that Monsanto seems to have they will get this ruling overturned. Then, after their genetically altered seeds have pollinated the organic seed, they will sue the orgnic growers for use of Monsanto product without a liscense. Monsanto has been harrasssing farmers in Missouri in a similar fashion. Read about this inOrganic ConsumersandVanity Fair.
"Regulators improperly granted agricultural giant Monsanto permission to freely sell genetically engineered sugarbeets and seeds, a federal judge has ruled in a lawsuit that sprung from the Willamette Valley.
U.S. District Court Judge Jeffrey S. White on Monday agreed with arguments from Willamette Valley organic seed growers that wind-born pollen from the transgenic plants -- engineered to resist Roundup, a Monsanto herbicide -- could contaminate their crops." Oregon Live
"ACORN filed suit today in Maryland against conservative filmmakers James O’Keefe, Hannah Giles and conservative Web site Breitbart.com for secretly taping the organization’s employees at its Baltimore office.
In the complaint, ACORN alleges that the filmmakers entered into the organization’s offices in July with a “hidden camera and microphone” and taped employees Tonja Thompson and Shera Williams. Both employees are listed as plaintiffs on the complaint, filed in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City."
This sounds like something Blowfeld would have in a James Bond movie.
"Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich has a rather curious new addition built in to his latest oversized yacht. The 557-foot boat Eclipse, the price tag of which has almost doubled since original plans were drawn to almost $1.2 billion, set sail this week with a slew of show-off features, from two helipads, two swimming pools and six-foot movie screens in all guest cabins, to a mini-submarine and missile-proof windows to combat piracy.
It might not seem like somebody with such ostentatious tastes would crave privacy, but along with these expensive toys, Ambramovich has installed an anti-paparazzi “shield”. Lasers sweep the surroundings and when they detect a CCD, they fire a bolt of light right at the camera to obliterate any photograph. According to the Times, these don’t run all the time, so friends and guests should still be able to grab snaps. Instead, they will be activated when guards spot the scourge of professional photography, paparazzi, loitering nearby."
Are the courts independent enough to find against the administration? The left has been more successful at appointing judges than the right, mainly because the Republicans seem incapable of standing up on almost any issue.
"While they still believe Congress will not succeed in passing a healthcare reform package shaped the way the president and Democrats want, opponents of government-run healthcare are laying the groundwork for lawsuits to stall and eventually kill any Democratic legislative victory—just in case. A broad group of conservatives has begun to explore how to file such lawsuits, who would file them, and what components of the legislation would be challenged, if not all of it. Because the effort is in the initial stages, none of those involved would allow Washington Whispers to identify them.
The first task, the conservatives say, is to find people or groups "with standing" to file the suits. They don't expect, however, that identifying groups or employers will be difficult if the mandate to require people to buy health insurance ends up in the final bill. Most of the conservatives involved say that the mandate amounts to a tax and that it will be fought on constitutional grounds. Also, the lawsuits won't be filed just in federal court in Washington. Sources say the suits will also be filed in most states and in as many courts as possible to avoid putting all eggs "in just a few baskets."
Buckle up, put your head between your legs, and assume the crash position. And while you're there, kiss your wallet and your rear end good bye.
"The free and easy money being dished out by the world's central banks is finding its way into assets, particularly financial assets such as stocks and bonds. That's great for asset prices, as the surge in stock market since March has demonstrated.
But so far, it's not having much impact on the 'real' economy. In other words, the money is being pumped into financial assets, but it's not being loaned out to businesses and individuals to fund business expansion and investment, or increased consumption. In fact, businesses and individuals are still in cutback mode, and show no real sign of coming out.
So it seems we're having a surge in financial assets that has no backing in economic reality. There's a name for that – a bubble. "Instead of getting consumer inflation from all this central bank liquidity, we are seeing asset price inflation and we all know that usually does not end well for investors," Steven Ricchiuto of Mizuho Securities told the Financial Times this weekend."
But, I thought that the church wasn't supposed to be involved in politics and science; you know, Galileo, evolution, flat earth, inquisitions and all that. Or, is that only when she disagrees with the left?
Did you notice the good Cardinal manages to throw a little social justice crap in the mix , too. Climate control will help the "poor people". Sometimes I think some Church leaders have elevated Karl Marx above Christ in their pandering to the left.
"A Scottish cardinal, quoting the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., said the "fierce urgency of now" has brought government and religious leaders to New York to discuss climate change.
Cardinal Keith O'Brien of St. Andrews and Edinburgh said society "seems to have become immune to what is urgent..."
"...But we know more can and must be done. At this most urgent time, when (and) if we act, we can end dangerous climate change and help poor people adapt to its effects -- now is indeed the time for leadership and courage."
Americans who slap $1 price tags on their used possessions at garage sales or bazaar events risk being slapped with fines of up to $15 million, thanks to a new government campaign. The "Resale Round-up," launched by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, enforces new limits on lead in children's products and makes it illegal to sell any items that don't meet those limits or have been recalled for any other reason. The strict standards were set in the 2008 Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act after a series of high-profile recalls of Chinese-made toys. The standards were originally interpreted to apply only to new products, but now the CPSC says they apply to used items as well. "Those who resell recalled children's products are not only breaking the law, they are putting children's lives at risk," said CPSC Chairman Inez Tenenbaum. "Resale stores should make safety their business and check for recalled products and hazards to child." - Foxnews
Looks like Teddy Kennedy may have just snuck in under the wire. If the Vatican would issue a statement to this affect and follow through, I will be amazed. Archbishop Burke is a Bishop of extraordinary courage and honesty. He is missed in St. Louis.
"Friday evening in Washington was no different. Throughout his 50-minute address, the archbishop returned again and again to the scandal of Catholic politicians who support abortion or same-sex marriage. He did not mince his words: "It is not possible to be a practicing Catholic and to conduct oneself in this manner."
"Neither Holy Communion nor funeral rites should be administered to such politicians," said Archbishop Burke. "To deny these is not a judgment of the soul, but a recognition of the scandal and its effects." Inside Catholic
Since the Western countries are all bankrupt I assume that the U.N. is speaking of China?
It seems that disease has become the favorite vehicle of the left for control and redistribution of wealth. Never let a good crisis go to waste.
"The swine flu pandemic could kill millions and cause anarchy in the world's poorest nations unless £900m can be raised from rich countries to pay for vaccines and antiviral medicines, says a UN report leaked to the Observer." Guardian
What a surprise! If we stop paying people to buy cars they stop buying cars. The same thing will happen when we stop paying people $8000 to buy houses. The new hose sales figures that are being touted will fall off the charts. The little bit of real demand has been pulled forward and exhausted. The government is running out of ways to falsely support our ruined economy. Remember this when you hear all of the economic numbers being reported. They reflect this influx of public monies, not real demand.
"It has been nearly a month since the car-buying frenzy of the Cash for Clunkers program ended, and many area auto dealers are longing for the good old days of July and August.
Like consumers nationwide, Massachusetts residents rushed to take advantage of the federal voucher program, which offered them up to $4,500 on old gas-guzzlers to be put toward the purchase of new, more fuel-efficient vehicles. About $65 million worth of vouchers were handed out statewide during the monthlong program that ended Aug. 24.
But once the federal money dried up, so did the sales rally. Now, customers at dealerships like Silko Honda in Raynham are few and far between, and inventory is once again accumulating."
Once again, the weird connections occur. Yesterday, I put the video from entimes77 on the blog referring to information about potential roadblocks and forced immunizations. Then I run across this article about the connections between the manufacture of the swine flu vaccine and Nazism.
I have been aware for quite awhile of the continuation of the Nazi movement through radical Islam. For further information read here: Tell the Children the Truth
A good book on the subject is "Salvation is From the Jews" by Roy Shoeman.
I have always believed that Nazism was designed by Satan to remove the Jewish people from the face of the earth. The reason for this is that the Jews are vital to God's plan of salvation. Without them the plan is destroyed. Nazism continues to this day for this reason. We are still fighting it in our war with radical Islam.
I have sensed that there is something wrong with the swine flu scare. There is too much conflicting information out there. Doctors that are interviewed on this subject seem to always say that this flu is mild and poses no larger threat than most other forms of flu, assuming there is no mutation. Yet, there is a constant drumbeat of disaster surrounding this thing, mostly, it seems, from the government. We are being pressured to get inoculations. Why? Is it just the normal corrupt government/business collusion to yet again line the pockets of world industrialists; or is it something deeper, more insidious? Is it Nazism, the tool of Satan, rising yet again to destroy God's plan of salvation?
I don't know. However, it's interesting that this connection between the video yesterday and the article below reared its ugly head. I don't believe in coincidence.
"The Ghosts of Auschwitz Have Arrived in Latin America By Dr. Matthias Rath
On the occasion of the decision of French drug maker Sanofi to invest $140 million to build a plant for the manufacturing of dubious vaccines for a non-existing influenza epidemic in Mexico, a short historical review is appropriate:
•1925. Together with BAYER and BASF, the drug company HOECHST formed the infamous chemical and drug cartel IG FARBEN that brought the Nazis to power and prepared them for WWII – in an attempt to conquer the emerging global market of patented chemicals and drugs.1 •1941/2. HOECHST, BAYER and BASF (IG Farben) chose the city of Auschwitz to construct the world’s largest chemical plant at that time to produce synthetic gasoline, rubber and other chemicals for their military conquest of Eastern Europe, Russia and eventually Asia. •1941-1945. As the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, HOECHST and BAYER used the nearby concentration camp Auschwitz not only for slave labor to construct their plant, but also as a giant human testing cage to test their patented drugs on thousands of innocent inmates who served them as "human guinea pigs." The corporate interests behind the pharmaceutical business with disease became the Ghosts of Auschwitz.2 •1948. During the Nuremberg War Crimes Tribunal these Ghosts of Auschwitz were put on trial and several members of IG Farben’s board of directors were sentenced for slave labor, mass murder and other crimes against humanity.3 •For half a century the Ghosts of Auschwitz spent billions trying to keep their horrifying past out of the history textbooks and out of the memory of mankind. •1997. More than half a century after the end of WWII this strategy collapsed. In a public lecture in the city hall of Chemnitz, Germany, I addressed the criminal past of HOECHST, BAYER and BASF as the key architects and profiteers of WWII – and of Auschwitz. The Ghosts of Auschwitz were brought into the daylight for the world to see.4 •1999. Only 2 years (!) after this exposure of its criminal past, HOECHST was forced to end its 140 year corporate history and merge with Rhone-Poulenc under the new name of "Aventis". The exposure of the Ghosts of Auschwitz forced one of the largest drug companies into oblivion – in a futile attempt to escape its past.5 •2004. Only a few years later, Nick Sarkozy – a thus far inconspicuous French minister of Finance – abused billions of French tax payer’s money to have the French drug dwarf Sanofi swallow the drug giant Aventis – and with it the Ghosts of Auschwitz.5 •With that decision the fate of Nick Sarkozy became intimately linked to the fate of the pharmaceutical drug industry. With that decision too, Nick Sarkozy became the political executor of the Ghosts of Auschwitz. •2007. Not surprisingly, only 3 years later the same Nick Sarkozy was made President of France with massive support of the Ghosts of Auschwitz. But that was just the beginning. With the assignment to Sarkozy of turning the Brussels’ EU into their new global politburo, the Ghosts of Auschwitz set out to accomplish what they had not been able to accomplish during the Nazi era and WWII: the political, economic and military control over the entire European continent as a stepping stone to control the world. •Since the ascent of Nick Sarkozy as the chief political executor of the Ghosts of Auschwitz there was no global drug scam that was not connected – or even orchestrated by these interests – including the mass vaccination of young girls with the harmful papilloma-virus vaccine and also the artificial H1N1 influenza epidemic. •2009. With the decision of Sanofi-Aventis to build a 100 Million Euro ($ 140 Million) H1N1 influenza vaccine plant in Mexico – i.e. a factory for the production of biological warfare material to be used to seize control over the economies and societies of Latin America – the Ghosts of Auschwitz have arrived in Latin America.6 References:
Karl Denninger atMarket Tickerjoins the outraged. I think that he may be making one mistake here, though. He asks, "Where are the citizens?" They are at all of the TEA Party marches and 9/12 events. They are on the net and talk radio. We are rising and this will end.
In the House of Representatives, Congressman John Fleming (Louisiana physician) has introduced House Resolution 615 urging congressmen and senators to agree to enroll in the same healthcare plan they force on us (under proposed legislation they are curiously exempt).
H.Res.615 - Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that Members who vote in favor of the establishment of a public, federal government run health insurance option are urged to forgo their right to participate in the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP) and agree to enroll under that public option.
Congressman Fleming is encouraging people to go on his website and sign his petition (very simple - just first name, last name, email, and street address). I have immediately done just that. Please urge as many people as you can to do the same! The form is on his main page, so do this quickly before it changes! Go here:
It took me less than a minute to sign up to require our congressmen and senators to drink at the same trough! Three cheers for Congressman John Fleming of Louisiana! If Congress forces this on the American people, the senators and representatives should have to accept the same level of health care for themselves and their families.
Here’s John Fleming speaking before the House of Representatives. Watch: Government Run Health Care — You Vote For It, You Use It.
So the first $134 Billion got almost no coverage and the second $100 Billion got none. Who is either counterfeiting our bonds or, maybe even worse, which country is trying to get rid of them? And why is no one talking about this?
"The U.S. Secret Service is examining more than $100 billion of U.S. government bonds confiscated in northern Italy in August, just two months after $134 billion of allegedly fake securities were seized in a nearby town." Bloomberg
As thrilled as I am to see more pledge to adhere to the 10th Amendment, I wonder, have they thought about how this went the last time Missouri asserted her sovereignty? How far are we willing to go. Are these people signing for a political advantage without thinking through the implications? What if they are asked to stand their ground and hold to that which they have pledged? Will they risk imprisonment, or worse? Only time will tell.
"Astonishing it is that one of the greatest dangers known to mankind has been overlooked as the world debates issues that pale by comparison.
Not war, not health care, not the economy are anywhere nearly as acute a concern as the simple, startling fact that a handful of major global corporations have all but taken control of the world's food supply and are doing so not only through massive "factory farming" and an outrageous overuse of chemicals but also by genetically engineering seeds that produce altered crops with unknown health hazards.
This is a huge issue and can largely be tracked to quiet organizations such as the Rockefeller Foundation -- which has funded much of the research sparking global agricultural trends. Some see it as a push for a single global superstructure and new world order. In the wrong hands, it could pose yet greater hazards [see previous article].
Ironically, the world's seed is now largely in the hands of giant global chemical companies infamous, as author F. William Engdahl points out, for creating serious toxic contamination issues in the past -- Monsanto, Dow Chemical, and DuPont.
By 2002, Monsanto and Pioneer-HiBred of Dupont had controlled sixty percent of the U.S. corn and soybean seed markets -- which consisted almost entirely of seeds that had been genetically modified, reports Engdahl." Spirit Daily
What event will be orchestrated to create a panic that will drive the public into the arms of the government? Who will be the designated villain? Health control is on the verge of collapsing. Can this be allowed when the statists are this close to seeing their goals accomplished? Nothing would surprise me anymore!
Speaker Nancy Pelosi: “I have concerns about some of the language that is being used because I saw … I saw this myself in the late '70s in San Francisco,” Pelosi said, choking up and with tears forming in her eyes. “This kind of rhetoric is just, is really frightening and it created a climate in which we, violence took place and … I wish that we would all, again, curb our enthusiasm in some of the statements that are made." Real Clear Politics
"The Speaker is now likening genuine opposition to assassination. Such insulting rhetoric not only undermines the credibility of her office, but it underscores the desperate attempt by her party to divert attention away from a failing agenda," Sessions said in a statement. "During one of the most important policy debates of our time, the American people have been completely abandoned by those elected representatives under her control. Voters are justifiably frustrated with Washington, and the Speaker's verbal assault on voters accomplishes nothing other than furthering her reputation for being wildly out of touch with the American people." Washington Post
But there won't be any rationing of health care, we promise!
"Two of every three practicing physicians oppose the medical overhaul plan under consideration in Washington, and hundreds of thousands would think about shutting down their practices or retiring early if it were adopted, a new IBD/TIPP Poll has found.
The poll contradicts the claims of not only the White House, but also doctors' own lobby — the powerful American Medical Association — both of which suggest the medical profession is behind the proposed overhaul."
My brother lives in Russ Carnahan's district and received this letter yesterday. Carnahan is a tool. After hiding from his constituents, holding secret meetings and seeing people beat by union thugs at one of his town hall events he has come to the conclusion that his constituents are in favor of health control. Is this REPRESENTATIVE government or a thugocracy? You decide.
Missouri should never elect another Carnahan for any office, ever.
"After hearing from people back home it's clear that contrary to what you may see and hear in the news, there is far more common ground on the issue of health care than being reported. People across America - Democrats, Republicans, and Independents, alike - are struggling to keep up with rising costs, and they are anxious about what the future holds. We all agree that the current system is unsustainable and unaffordable. We know that health care is the number one contributor to our deficit and to personal bankruptcies. It's the greatest economic threat to individuals and families, to businesses large and small, and to our nation's long-term fiscal stability. And we know that if we do nothing, the problem will get worse. Health care costs will continue to rise three times faster than wages, millions more Americans will lose their coverage, and businesses will find it impossible to compete in the global market. We have a tremendous opportunity right now to prevent that future from becoming a reality. We can - and must - provide a uniquely American solution to this crisis, a solution that builds on what works and fixes what's broken. We can - and must - put doctors and patients back in charge, lower costs, offer more choices and competition, and improve the quality of health care for everyone in this country. We can - and must - give Americans peace of mind that they can keep the care they like and never be denied the care they need. I know that some of you still have concerns about insurance reform, and I want to briefly address these concerns. First, I understand - and share - the concern about government spending. I am a strong supporter of balancing budgets just as each family must do, and I will not support reform that is not deficit neutral. Secondly, I will not support legislation that does not allow you to keep your current coverage and doctor. No one - not the government, and not the insurance company bureaucrats - should get between you and your doctor. If you like your current coverage, you can keep it. If not, a public or non-profit option will help provide a quality, affordable alternative that will help increase competition, hold the private insurers accountable, and keep costs down. Finally, there has been a lot of disinformation spread by those who are profiting from our broken system. The legislation before the House of Representatives explicitly prohibits the use of federal funds for abortion or for covering those in this country illegally. There is also no such thing as "death panels" and absolutely no cuts to Medicare benefits.
We need to have common-sense solutions that restore the stability that has been missing for far too long. Now is the time to fix it. That's what the American people expect and that's what they deserve. As always, do not hesitate to write or call to share your views about this important issue intended to hold health insurance companies accountable and reduce the costs of health care for every American. Sincerely,
"Carnahan Spokesman Sara Howard Caught Scrubbing Her Past
Russ Carnahan decided to hire Sara Howard, a longtime SEIU staff member as his director of communications shortly before his Townhall on Aging. He announced it on August 5th, and the townhall was August 6th. That townhall marked a turning point nationally, as SEIU, ACORN, OFA, HCA, and other liberal groups started sending large groups of counter protestors to protect their pet politicians. That townhall was also where SEIU staff members Perry Molens and Elston McCowan were arrested after assaulting Kenneth Gladney.
Dana Loesch posts up the LinkedIn profile of Sara Howard, but something is missing. That same profile, since last month, has been scrubbed. The original profile listed Walmart Watch, the SEIU funded project that spent several years attacking Walmart as one of her roles. That listing is no longer there.
I can see why. Walmart Watch worked in close coordination with ACORN, using ACORN's community organizers to picket Walmart locations while the SEIU branch attacked them digitally and with press releases. Interesting that Sara scrubbed that from her profile just recently. Sadly, I did not take screenshots, as who would have believed she was ashamed of ACORN?
Also missing is Howard's time as the Missouri spokesman for ACT (Americans Coming Together), a pro-Kerry progressive voting group that was fined a massive $775,000 for federal campaign finance violations, including taking illegal donations from SEIU.
What did SEIU/ACT do with the money? In Missouri, they hired felons, including those listed as murderers and rapists, to go door to door registering voters. You might remember the name because Laura Egerdal, the Director of Communications for Robin Carnahan, was a former SEIU employee who in 2004 posted the jobs for Americans Coming Together, as reported by Gateway Pundit earlier this year. So now you have two SEIU employees closely affiliated with an organization that illegally gathered millions of dollars and spent it on hiring felons to go door to door gathering registrations.
That's a resume maker for Carnahan campaigns.
So why Howard and why now? Russ was having an awful summer, and so he reached out to his friends and sister and asked for help. Sara is married to Robin's campaign spokesperson, who also is the spokesperson for Tom Carnahan. They now keep it in the family, and can spread information back and forth.
Don't be confused by the letters. SEIU/ACORN/ProVote/AFCSME/SEIU Missouri Kansas Council are all fruits of the same poisoned tree. Seeing as the Post Dispatch has refused to report or discuss how these union groups have perverted Missouri Democratic politicians, it will once again be up to citizens to provide the proof."
So dumb carpenter boy here is in a state of complete confusion. The latest reports show that the Producer Price Index is up 1.7% and retail sales were up 2.7%, the largest increase in three years. How can this be? Unemployment is 16%+, credit is unavailable and people have watched their assets disappear. Why would we see inflation rear it's head. I know that the money is being printed like crazy but still, if no one is buying why would prices go up? Could it be that the appearance of looming inflation may be seen as an advantage to the government? If people think prices are going to rise would they push forward demand to buy at a cheaper price? If we had money, maybe. I don't think it's going to work this time. I believe we are entering a deflationary period because everyone is financially exhausted or just too leery of the future to spend any money at all. No demand equals lower prices, regardless of everything else. And if I remember right, this action, when tried in the 30's, just created a bubble that popped, plunging the country deeper into depression. It took a World War to start to get us out.
Anyway, this video may help to show why it might be in the interest of the financial sector to overstate inflationary pressure. Besides, Pete Smith Specialties are great to watch.
"Treasury Department Says Cap And Trade Will Cost Us $200 Billion A Year
Blaine Luetkemeyer can breathe easier. Despite the paranoid ravings of the Carnahan family pet blogger, it turns out that even the Obama administration knows that Cap and Trade is really a giant tax on Americans.
Sure, it took a Freedom of Information Act to get the story, and no, you're not going to see this in the New York Times, but CEI asked for and received internal documents discussing cap and trade as way to raise money.
A memo prepared by Judson Jaffe, who works in the Treasury's Office of Environment and Energy, referenced President Obama's remarks on energy policy in his State of the Union Address and said, given the president's plan to auction emissions allowances, "a cap-and-trade program could generate federal receipts on the order of $100 to $200 billion annually."
It's not really a question. The government is planning on raising hundreds of billions of dollars to trade carbon credits, and the money has to go to someone. Call it a tax, a fee, or a carbon credit, and it all amounts to the same thing - Washington takes your money, and then decides who gets it.
It's just nice to know that people inside the US Treasury are looking at the bill realistically."
I've been following ACORN and all of the corruption that swirls around it with rapt attention. I agree with Glenn Beck that corruption is the problem. ACORN is just the most visible part, and probably the easiest to deal with. The banks and their collusion with the government to defraud and rape the people of the world is the thing that, in the end will change everything. Forever. We are nearing the end of our way of life. Really, it's been over for about a couple years now. The truly ugly part is right around the corner. Karl Denninger at Market Ticker has been charting this collapse better than anyone else. He uses mathematics to explain and prove his conclusions. Math doesn't lie. At least I've been told that. I've got dyslexia so I have to take the word of others.
This came from The Daily Show via Gateway Pundit. The most incredible thing is the crowd. I have the impression most had not seen this and were genuinely shocked. Most of the laughter is nervous and forced. Almost like they thought this might be some sort of parody. Is this indicative of the reaction of Americans that have been denied access to this story by the MSM. If so, what will happen as it starts to break?
"I think an overwhelming portion of the intensely demonstrated animosity toward President Barack Obama is based on the fact that he is a black man, that he's African-American," Carter told NBC News. "I live in the South, and I've seen the South come a long way, and I've seen the rest of the country that shares the South's attitude toward minority groups at that time, particularly African-Americans."
"That racism inclination still exists, and I think it's bubbled up to the surface because of belief among many white people -- not just in the South but around the country -- that African-Americans are not qualified to lead this great country. It's an abominable circumstance, and it grieves me and concerns me very deeply," Carter said."
What grieves and concerns me deeply is that this blithering race baiting huckster is given the amount of time in the media that he is. His presidency was a failure, he supports the wrong side on nearly every issue and he's just plain boorish in his condescending tone and attitude. We don't need the lectures from a washed up, has been failure. Oh, and by the way, does it seem like he really dislikes America sometimes?
Real racists are focused on the issue of race to the exclusion of nearly everything else. I've been around a lot of them in my life and all of their conversations are salted with grievances related to race. Much like most of the leftist leadership. The rest of us got over it a long time ago. We don't see color, we see attitude. We judge people on character, not DNA. We are perfectly happy to see a black man or woman in the White House, as long as they work towards the common good and the beliefs of the people. Black statists are reviled not because of their color but because of their politics.
So quit using race to obfuscate the issues. We see through your clever ploy. It doesn't work anymore. It only serves to strengthen our resolve.
There is no moral concern regarding cloning human beings since human embryos, which develop into a baby, are "only a handful of cells," argued President Obama's newly confirmed regulatory czar, Cass Sunstein.
"If scientists will be using and cloning embryos only at a very early stage when they are just a handful of cells (say, before they are four days old), there is no good reason for a ban (on cloning)," wrote Sunstein, who was confirmed by the Senate last week as administrator of the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs.
"It is silly to think that 'potential' is enough for moral concern. Sperm cells have 'potential' and (not to put too fine a point on it) most people are not especially solicitous about them," Sunstein wrote in a review of the 2003 book "Our Posthuman Future" by Francis Fukuyama.
Sperm cells have potential??!! For what? To be cleaned up off the sheets or to become PART of the biological process that results in the creation of a human life. In and of themselves they cannot and will not ever become a child.
That mass of cells that Sunstein wants to play with, now that's a different thing entirely. That mass of cells, barring some outside force from stopping them, will be born, love, eat , drink, think and die. It is human. It may not be cute and lovable like it will be in 9 months or so but the same can be said about its appearance 80 years from now. Yet, the octogenarian is every bit as human as the new born.
Except in the insane world of those that believe human life is valuable only in a utilitarian sense. Does it support the collective? Obviously, the mass of cells and the octogenarian have no real material value. They can't work or pay taxes so their value is reduced to experimentation. Their death will actually be a positive. They won't be able to put any additional strain on the collective.
This is what we elected last November; the moral progeny of Sanger, Hitler and Mengele. We will be held responsible.
"A majority of Americans believe Wall Street executive compensation is "unreasonable," and that bankers fared better than others during the financial crisis, a poll conducted for Reuters shows." Reuters
And the sun rises in the east, water is wet and money doesn't grow on trees. How much effort went into this bit of journalism? Our economic and political system is crumbling around us and this is the best they can do. Pathetic.
A cautionary tale for all the young oysters that have been bewitched and bedazzled by the glimmering rhetoric of the Walrus, as he speaks of health control and cap and trade and whether pigs have wings.
The sun was shining on the sea, Shining with all his might: He did his very best to make The billows smooth and bright-- And this was odd, because it was The middle of the night.
The moon was shining sulkily, Because she thought the sun Had got no business to be there After the day was done-- "It's very rude of him," she said, "To come and spoil the fun!"
The sea was wet as wet could be, The sands were dry as dry. You could not see a cloud, because No cloud was in the sky: No birds were flying overhead-- There were no birds to fly.
The Walrus and the Carpenter Were walking close at hand; They wept like anything to see Such quantities of sand: "If this were only cleared away," They said, "it would be grand!"
"If seven maids with seven mops Swept it for half a year. Do you suppose," the Walrus said, "That they could get it clear?" "I doubt it," said the Carpenter, And shed a bitter tear.
"O Oysters, come and walk with us!" The Walrus did beseech. "A pleasant walk, a pleasant talk, Along the briny beach: We cannot do with more than four, To give a hand to each."
The eldest Oyster looked at him, But never a word he said: The eldest Oyster winked his eye, And shook his heavy head-- Meaning to say he did not choose To leave the oyster-bed.
But four young Oysters hurried up, All eager for the treat: Their coats were brushed, their faces washed, Their shoes were clean and neat-- And this was odd, because, you know, They hadn't any feet.
Four other Oysters followed them, And yet another four; And thick and fast they came at last, And more, and more, and more-- All hopping through the frothy waves, And scrambling to the shore.
The Walrus and the Carpenter Walked on a mile or so, And then they rested on a rock Conveniently low: And all the little Oysters stood And waited in a row.
"The time has come," the Walrus said, "To talk of many things: Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax-- Of cabbages--and kings-- And why the sea is boiling hot-- And whether pigs have wings."
"But wait a bit," the Oysters cried, "Before we have our chat; For some of us are out of breath, And all of us are fat!" "No hurry!" said the Carpenter. They thanked him much for that.
"A loaf of bread," the Walrus said, "Is what we chiefly need: Pepper and vinegar besides Are very good indeed-- Now if you're ready, Oysters dear, We can begin to feed."
"But not on us!" the Oysters cried, Turning a little blue. "After such kindness, that would be A dismal thing to do!" "The night is fine," the Walrus said. "Do you admire the view?
"It was so kind of you to come! And you are very nice!" The Carpenter said nothing but "Cut us another slice: I wish you were not quite so deaf-- I've had to ask you twice!"
"It seems a shame," the Walrus said, "To play them such a trick, After we've brought them out so far, And made them trot so quick!" The Carpenter said nothing but "The butter's spread too thick!"
"I weep for you," the Walrus said: "I deeply sympathize." With sobs and tears he sorted out Those of the largest size, Holding his pocket-handkerchief Before his streaming eyes.
"O Oysters," said the Carpenter, "You've had a pleasant run! Shall we be trotting home again?' But answer came there none-- And this was scarcely odd, because They'd eaten every one.
"Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that the antichrist was coming, so now many antichrists have appeared. Thus we know this is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not really of our number; if they had been, they would have remained with us. Their desertion shows that none of them was of our number. But you have the anointing that comes from the Holy One, and you all have knowledge. I write to you not because you do not know the truth but because you do, and because every lie is alien to the truth."
