TEACH YOUR KIDS TO SHOOT

This is why my kids and now my granddaughter all learned to shoot at an early age. Firearms are the great equalizer. The simple .22 rifle this tiny girl picked up made her a clear and present threat to the guys that broke into her house and they ran. This isn't to say that just having a weapon and knowing how to use it will always save your life but I'd damned sure rather have one than not in a tight spot. And I'd rather my wife and kids would, too.
