FIRST THEY TESTED US FOR DRUGS AND WE SAID NOTHING

"All Americans, by 2014 will be required to have an individual obesity rating electronically recorded. It has been determined that under the new health stimulus law passed by President Barack Obama recently, that all Americans, by 2014, will be required to have electronic health records which will include their height, weight and body mass index (BMI)."

All this started years ago when Americans rolled over and allowed themselves to be forced into drug testing. Next, we became accustomed to going through scanners to enter public buildings, on the off chance that one of us may endanger the rest with a pocketknife. Soon, scanners were the norm in urban schools. Now, we've grown so used to these infringements on our liberty that we've agreed to be prodded through full body scanners that view us as though we're naked, had our First Amendment rights abridged and even agree to be taken away at the whim of a government lackey for rectal exams just to board a plane.

So what's next? Forced health examinations with the results available to employers and anyone else the government deems worthy. We will be excluded from jobs and God only knows what else if we don't conform to some arbitrary standard.

At some point, this same information will be used to determine our worth; to decide whether we live or die.

Does that sound extreme? That's what everyone told me thirty years ago when I predicted the outcome of allowing ourselves to be tested for drugs. And today, everything I imagined and more has come true.
