FATHER PFLEGER IS AT IT AGAIN

At some point Rome needs to step into this if Cardinal George refuses to correct the situation. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but Pfleger has crossed the line in his disobedience. If Church authorities don't stop this then others will feel free to preach lies and hate in the name of Christ. Because with Pfleger, it's not just ordination of women, it's the whole social justice, America is evil, Progressive, Marxist package.

"In the latest episode in an ongoing controversy, Fr. Michael Pfleger has again publicly voiced his support for women's ordination, this time in a comment posted to his Facebook fan page. In that comment, he also notes that the archdiocese made him issue the apology he put out on Wednesday.

“Sunday, I mentioned in my Sermon that I believe in married Priests and Woman Priests,” the Facebook comment reads. “I was then told that I had to apologize for saying it durning [sic] a Sermon because that is not allowed, even though that is my opinion.

“I have received much hate from the right-winged who want my removal,” he added. “Amazing... Nobody Blogged me or youtubed me about helping Save our children or Stopping the Violence...”

His comment follows a Wednesday statement published on the Archdiocese of Chicago's website, which has since been removed. In the statement he admits that he advocated for women priests and bishops in his homily, but then says that, “While this is my personal opinion, I do respect and follow the Catholic Church teachings and I am sorry I failed to do this.”

HOMOSEXUALITY IS THE MISSING LINK IN THE PRIEST ABUSE SCANDAL

It'll be interesting to see if the New York Times publishes anything from the story below, right alongside all their other coverage of the Catholic sex scandal.

For all of the left's concern for "the children", my guess is that their overriding desire to support sexual licence and immorality will trump any of their outrage at the sexual abuse of minors or anyone else. Because all of their screaming and howling about Catholic sex scandals isn't about protecting anyone; it is designed and directed at destroying the Church, the one institution left standing in the way of the "New World Order".

So there won't be any reporting from any mainstream media outlet about the proven link between homosexuality and sexual abuse by those in a position of power. No, all we'll hear is the continued drumbeat meant to inflame the passions against the Church. That's why there is no reporting of any consequence about all the others being abused in the schools, Protestant churches and synagogues. The damaged and abused children and adults are just pawns in a larger game.

The ends justify the means. Never let a good crisis got to waste.

"Following Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone’s comments in Chile about a link existing between homosexuality and pedophilia in cases of clerical sexual abuse, both Church officials and secular figures clarified his statement. But Dr. Richard Fitzgibbons, a psychiatrist with experience treating sexually abusive priests, told CNA that the cardinal's statement is accurate.

...Many gay rights organizations reacted vehemently to Cardinal Bertone’s statement, leading Fr. Federico Lombardi, director of the Vatican Press office, to assert that “it obviously refers to the problem of abuse by priests and not in the population in general."

...However, a U.S. psychiatrist with experience in treating priests with pedophilia disagrees that there is no link between homosexuality and sexual abuse of children. “Cardinal Bertone's comments are supported completely by the John Jay study report and by clinical experience,” Dr. Richard Fitzgibbons told CNA. “In fact, every priest whom I treated who was involved with children sexually had previously been involved in adult homosexual relationships.”

Fitzgibbons, who has been the director of Comprehensive Counseling Center in West Conshohocken, Penn. since 1988, has worked extensively with individuals suffering from same sex attraction (SSA) and priests accused of pedophilia. He also presently serves as a consultant to the Congregation for the Clergy at the Holy See.

...When asked what sort of new information has become available since the publication of the letter, Fitzgibbons put an emphasis on narcissism. “This epidemic personality weakness in the west predisposes individuals to excessive anger, the worship of self, rebelliousness against God and His Church particularly in regard to sexual morality and sexual acting-out,” he said."

RESTORATION NOT REFORMATION

Restoration, not reformation. This is the key to achieving our goal. We must stay loyal to the Church while we work to restore her to the authoritative teaching Church she once was. Groups like SPPX and SPPV have the goal of creating a parallel church, believing that they have the authority to go it on their own. This is wrong and extremely dangerous, putting the souls of many at risk of damnation. We must stay with Peter.

"And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose upon earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven." Matthew 16:18

This same power was foreshadowed in Isaiah 22:22: "And I will lay the key of the house of David upon his shoulder: and he shall open, and none shall shut: and he shall shut, and none shall open." Isaiah tells of the future time when King Hezekiah will lose his power and the keys (authority) to the Kingdom of David (foreshadowing the Kingdom of Christ) will be passed on to another.

It is this authority that Jesus gives to Peter and his successors through the keys. The rightful authority of Christ is tied, forever, to the office of the Pope. It is the reason our destiny as Christians is and will always be dependent upon the successor of Peter. We must stay with him.

Without that simple promise the Church would have no more authority than any other. With it, the Church carries the authority of God. For through this promise and the power to bind and loose the Church is protected from error.

We are not reformers. We will restore the Church and hold tight to Peter.

"We are not reformers:we are restorers". I wonder where I
saw that just the other day?

YOU HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO CHOOSE

"In a 19-17 vote on Monday night, the House Budget Committee shot down the inclusion of the Stupak-Pitts amendment in the health care reconciliation bill. The amendment, which was drafted by Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) last November, would prevent the use of federal funds for abortion and is likely to be addressed by the full House later this week."

The lines are being drawn pretty clearly. It seems that the radicalization of America is serving the purpose of clarifying individual beliefs. I know that this statement is subjective but, to me anyway, some of the muddiness that usually surrounds politics is being hosed off. Even though they're trying to vote for this bill in the house without voting for it we all know what's going on. With most things political it's just the geeks that pay attention and get pissed off about the levels of corruption. This time, it's the whole country.

The same is true in the Church. The veneer of holiness is being stripped from those in the leadership that have decided to follow evil instead of Christ. Whether it's the Progressives in the USCCB or the priests molesting kids, everything is being brought into the open.

I think it likely that evil will once again gain the upper hand and much of what we are seeing will be obscured. But, for a short period of time, man is being given a great grace and a choice. You see, I believe that we are approaching the end of an era. I can feel it in the air and in my soul. Satan has been in control of the earth since the fall. If you believe in such things, which I do, he was given additional power by God to try and destroy the Church about a hundred years ago. This power was to last around a century (See The Vision of Pope Leo XIII).

The time allotted to Satan has passed and along with it a century filled with wars, plagues, famines, holocaust and the most Satanic of all political movements, Communism. We have also seen the "Smoke of Satan" enter God's Church. I read a lot of history so I'm not saying that all of this hasn't happened before. It has. Just not on such a concentrated level and with such a clear intent to destroy not only the Church but to completely disrupt salvation history and, through the attempted destruction of the Jews, man's way to redemption.

God is about to enter history again. Maybe not physically, as with the incarnation, but directly. We will all have to choose sides and because the truth has been exposed we will be held to account for our choice.

For anyone out there that hopes to sit this out and just side with the winner, your actions will serve as your decision. Inaction supports evil because it doesn't oppose it.

We are being called to arms. If we support God we have to speak out. If we support freedom we have to speak out. We can't bury our heads in the sand and hope this goes away. It won't. Everything that we know is about to collapse and our lives will never be the same.

We have the right to make a choice but along with the right comes the obligation to choose. If you don't fulfill the obligation you will lose the right. And if you lose the right to choose you lose the right to freedom along with it.

So make your choice or cower into slavery. It really has become as simple as that. The lines have been drawn clearly now. We have reached an absolutely pivotal point in history. Nothing will ever be the same again. Make your choice and act on it.

WHAT ABOUT THE BOY SCOUTS?

I wonder (and you would think the professional journalist that wrote this story would have asked) is this code only applied to church groups or does it apply to all meetings in private homes? It sounds as though it is a clear cut case of violation of the First Amendment but if it applies to everything, maybe not. I wonder what their reasoning is? Again, you'd think that might be in the story.

If the First Amendment applies in this case why wouldn't the Second Amendment apply in Chicago? The question of whether it does is in the Supreme Court. Just wondering?

"The national Alliance Defense Fund says a town code that bars religious assemblies in private homes in the Arizona community of Gilbert is unconstitutional.
The Oasis of Truth church began meeting at Pastor Joe Sutherland's house in November and rotated homes several times a week for Bible study and fellowship.

A Gilbert code compliance officer hit the church with a violation notice after seeing a sign near a road advertising a Sunday service.

A zoning administrator told the church that Bible studies, church leadership meetings and fellowship activities are not permitted in private homes.

The Alliance Defense Fund's Doug Napier says no neighbors complained.

The Scottsdale-based group has filed an appeal with the town of Gilbert, contending its code violates the U.S. Constitution."

REPENT YE SINNERS

Is it possible that a Bishop can't see why the Church is singled out?

"Catholic Bishop of Elphin Christopher Jones has accused the media of being “unfair and unjust” to the Catholic Church through a concentration on the handling by church authorities of the clerical child sex-abuse issue.

“Could I just say with all this emphasis on cover-up, the cover-up has gone on for centuries, not just in the church… It’s going on today in families, in communities, in societies. Why are you singling out the church?” he asked.

A member of the Bishops’ Liaison Committee for Child Protection, he was speaking at a press conference in Maynooth yesterday where the Irish Episcopal Conference was concluding its three-day spring meeting.

He continued: “I object to the way the church is being isolated and the focus on the church. We know we’ve made mistakes. Of course we’ve made mistakes but why this huge isolation of the church and this huge focus on cover-up in the church when it has been going on for centuries?"
Irish Times

The Church is not just a family or a community. It is the Body of Christ! It should be and must be held to a higher standard. The leadership wants it both ways. They want the authority to make pronouncements regarding faith and morals yet they would hide behind sophistry such as, "Well, everyone else was doing it!"

It's this oh so apparent double standard that is causing the people to question the rightful authority of the Church. We've been down this road in America and still haven't reached the end. Ireland needs to turn and look this way. Learn from our mistakes and accept responsibility for the evils done in the name of Jesus.

Repent sinners and beg for forgiveness. As you've told us so many times, that is the way to salvation.
