And that no man might buy or sell, but he that hath the character, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Revelation 13:17
I'm just wondering how much further we'll let ourselves be pushed.
"If you're in the market for a car, be prepared to prove you are not a terrorist.
The federal government's Red Flags Rule mandates that auto dealers, banks, credit unions and other "creditors" and "financial institutions" take additional steps to prevent identity theft and fraud, beginning Jan. 1. Included in the list of so-called creditors is your family doctor.
Among those steps is determining whether a person applying for financing - or even paying cash for a car - appears on any government watch lists of known or suspected terrorists or terrorist organizations.
As a result, consumers hoping to finance a new or used car, a home or even a major appliance will be required to supply personal information - such as their Social Security number and birth date, as well as the answers to five questions designed to confirm a customer is who they say they are - to the business at the time of the sale. Those questions could include anything from previous addresses and area codes to the names of other members of the consumer's household.
Thomas Garage Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep in St. Clairsville uses a software called Wise Scan ID to simplify the search of public records and the 475-page Office of Foreign Assets Control "Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons" list, commonly referred to as the terror watch list."
Now we know that the system is in place. How much harder will it be to require national ID cards tied back to it? You want to buy groceries? We need your number. You want to buy medicine? We need your number.
Eventually I would imagine that this same card will become a debit card attached to your bank account. Printed money is about to be removed from the system. The Fed is creating money to fund the national debt. This money isn't printed; it is nothing more than a figure entered on a balance sheet. If they aren't producing physical notes then they will have to do away with them completely to avoid a situation that is essentially a run on the banks.
At some point, assuming the economy doesn't collapse, the new money will enter the system. Because it will devalue the currency it'll take a whole lot more of it to buy our stuff. This means that if people continue to use cash that the cash will have to exist for them to use it. Because it only exists as entries on balance sheets and not as physical notes the physical notes will either have to be printed or done away with entirely. If people start using the fake money created electronically it will have to remain in electronic form.
And that's where this is heading. To buy anything you'll have to posses a government issued debit or credit card that will be tied back to a huge database that includes all your personal information. And this database will be part of a worldwide database that will be sold to the people as necessary to keep us safe from terrorists. This card, attached to that database, will become absolutely vital if one wants to function in society. Without it all the doors will be closed.
Living off the grid will become damned near impossible to do because we'll have to use an economic system that is wholly self sufficient with no way to access even the most basic of everyday needs short of some sort of science fiction/Mad Max existence which will be damned near impossible to hide from the state.
Welcome to Satan's brave new world.
