IS A NUKE THE ONLY REAL OPTION?

If the casing is no longer in the hole then we have oil pouring uncontrollably from underground with absolutely no way to control it. If the nuke doesn't work, and if the casing is gone, the oil will flow until the pressure equalizes. According to Matt Simmons that could take over twenty years.
