The Pope condemns same sex marriage and abortion and they call this news? If he had approved them, now that would be newsworthy. I suppose the real intent of all these articles about this non event is to somehow make the Church look intolerant and close minded. Well, it does look as though it is both those things; rightfully so.
Both are sins and as such we have no right to engage in them. We have the ability, that's true. But just because we can doesn't mean we should. If we have the right to choose sinful activities they can hardly be called sins, can they?
