WE HAVE EARNED OUR PAY

"Now today's "soft-headed, eco-green, commie-pink, liberal democrat" so-called Christians say, "That was the Old Testament and not how God operates any longer under the New Convenant because Jesus is all loving and He would never ever punish anyone." Well, I have news for such people. God does NOT change, for Hebrews 12:5-6 states very clearly:

My son, do not disdain the discipline of the Lord or lose heart when reproved by him; for whom the Lord loves, he disciplines; he scourges every son he acknowledges."

All of you that say that it isn't possible that God could have had anything to do with Haiti need to read the post from Ioannes at Commentarius de Prognosticis.

The modern idea that Jesus (God) is this all loving, all forgiving, non judgmental hippie is laughable, or at least it would be if it weren't so dangerous. We are responsible for what we do and further our sin affects those around us. We need to come to grips with this because it is the truth, whether we like it our not. We are being lied to because we want to be. Most go to church to hear what they believe is true and if the church disagrees they move on until they find one that agrees with them. This is more true of Protestants but we Catholics are guilty, too. We follow a lie because the lie is easier to hear.

2 Timothy 4:3-4
For there shall be a time, when they will not endure sound doctrine; but, according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears:
And will indeed turn away their hearing from the truth, but will be turned unto fables.

As the world we have built begins to crumble around us we will look at each other in anger and scream, "Why?" The answer is clear:

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death.

We have earned what is coming. If we understand that our punishment is just and we accept it as the gift it is intended to be we will find reason and truth in it. If we refuse to accept it we will find only despair. Those that have followed a lie in place of sound doctrine will see what is coming as proof there is no God while those that have followed the truth will see God's hand at work all around us.

Haiti was a warning to the world. We refuse to see it for what it was meant to be at our own peril. We can choose to be people of the truth our followers of the lie.

The time of separation is upon us.
