Sure. So what'll happen is that they'll take the money from the tax that should support baby killin' and they'll send it to the Department of Education. It'll get laundered through there and sent back to the baby killin' place free and clear. Just like the lotto money in Missouri "supports" schools. The put it in the school coffer on the left and shift an equal amount out the right to some other black hole of governmental waste. The schools end up with no more than they would have had and everybody's partyin' in Jeff city with the money that was doled out by the casinos, through taxes and graft.

So, on to the main problem. I'm Catholic and I believe what the churches teaches. Period. This being the case, how can I let the government use my money to kill children? Working under the belief (mine and John Locke's, not the church's, I think. I'll have to look it up) that my money is my labor which is inextricably connected to my very being, my soul, wouldn't using my money to kill children be the same as killing them myself? As this evil becomes more and more obvious in its action, how can I continue to pay taxes? I will be answerable to God for my actions.

I guess I'll have to go pester Father Mark again.

If I belong to God through Baptism, then everything I am belongs to God; my joy, sorrow, pain, wealth and I would think my labor. If the money I earn is the result of my labor, which belongs to God, then how can that same money belong to the government? Does the government at least partially own me through its power to tax and if so am I culpable for the sins that are committed by the use of that money? God grants me free will. Can the government, through the power to tax, remove something granted by God?
