ST. LOUIS TEA PARTY AT CARNAHAN'S BRENTWOOD OFFICE

My brother and I went to the Tea Party protest at Russ Carnahan's office at 8764 Manchester in Brentwood, Mo. today. There seemed to be maybe 200-250 people there, with the majority seeming to be Tea Party supporters, although the pro healthcare side had a good turn out, too.

The curb surrounding the parking lot at Carnahan's office was filled with people sporting signs and smiles. There were people in the parking lot of Schnucks lining Brentwood Blvd, too.

Supporters of healthcare seemed to be mostly right at the intersection of Brentwood and Manchester with opponents spread out everywhere else.

The mood of all was good and lots of smiles were in evidence.

Bill Hennessy, I think, above, giving a rousing opening speech.

Dana Loesch giving an interview. The guy in the red shirt is either her husband or her trusty manservant. I'm thinking husband because he had that look we all get, the look that says, "I'm here for you dear, and will cart your stuff around as long as you need, but jeez, I'd rather have a beer."
