Big apologies to Senator McCaskill. She did NOT cancel the event. University City Schools cancelled her contract.
U City Schools parroted the SEIU’s lies, blaming the people who want to speak, not the people who want to punch and kick
We regret that thousands of St. Louisans have been denied access to their Senator by violence perpetrated by SEIU operatives and condoned by a US Congressman. What kind of a leader buses in hooligans to beat down his constituents? (Hint: consult your 20th Century European history books.)
We do note that Senator McCaskill has not yet cancelled the event scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Jefferson College in Hillsboro, MO. If you plan to attend, please follow this advice:
1. Gather together with the other Tea Partiers outside about 30 minutes before the doors open. Pray together for unity, strength, reserve, dignity, and peace. Pray sincerely that our legislators choose the right path.
2. Commit to refrain from shouting. Pretend you’re in church. We’ve gotten their attention, so normal tones will now work.
3. Smile often and at everyone.
4. Do NOT offer to shake hands with anyone you don’t know. The SEIU has trained its agitators to accuse you of assault if you stick out your hand or take theirs.
5. Commit to winning Claire McCaskill over to our side. Be nice to her–she really has been cordial to us. We must leave a door open for her to enter. We don’t want her to vote for socialized medicine just to spite us.
Finally, remember that we are trying to dissuade Congress from socializing medicine and from quashing dissent. Congressman Carnahan, who continues to blame Ken Gladney for putting his face in the path of a thug’s fist, is a lost cause. We will petition the Missouri Legislature to recall him from Washington. But Senator McCaskill has, at times, demonstrated great maturity. Should she choose to take up our cause, we must make it easy and rewarding for her to do so.
Let’s start on Tuesday.
