"AUSTIN — Gov. Rick Perry, raising the specter of a showdown with the Obama administration, suggested Thursday that he would consider invoking states’ rights protections under the 10th Amendment to resist the president’s healthcare plan, which he said would be "disastrous" for Texas."
I am so freakin' glad to see states start to stand up to this obnoxious, overbearing government that we have elected in Washington. And, wouldn't you know, Texas is leading the way. The state that had the grace and good manners to host our legally elected state government after they were forced from Missouri by federal troops the last time we tried to exert our sovereignty, is going to help out the whole country this time. God Bless 'Em.
