This is the best and clearest explanation I've seen. I'm sure, regrettably so, that this is completely foreign to damned near every American under the age of 50. We were taught this in school but we were also about the last generation that heard it. I hope that at the very least, Americans will begin to understand all that we are losing. It breaks my heart to see it disappear.
