The more things change the more they stay the same. My brother found this on You Tube. It is from a recording made in 1961 for "The Coffee Cup Campaign". I'd swear it was recorded today. Change some of the names and the same arguments are being made to rush a bill through for the purpose of socializing our country. Thanks Mr. Reagan, we sure miss your leadership.

REVOLUTION REDUX
I offer this up to you to do with what you please. I've been reading this guy's blog for a long time and do believe that he is honest in what he says. I believe that some people are being used by God to warn us of the coming storm. Mark Mallet is one of them.
I found this so interesting because I think that we are about to see the French revolution played out again. I've felt this with ever greater urgency as I have watched events unfold. I think that this time we'll do it a little differently. The government is going to rebel against the people.
The results will be the same. Mindless bloodletting on an incredible scale.

THOUGH the Lord has been mostly silent in my own heart the past few months, this writing below and the word "Revolution!" remains strong, as though it is being spoken for the first time. I have decided to re-post this writing, and invite you to freely spread it to family and friends. We are seeing the beginnings of this Revolution already in the United States.
The Lord has begun to speak words of preparation again in the past few days. And so, I will write these and share them with you as the Spirit unfolds them. This is a time of preparation, a time of prayer. Don’t forget this! May you remain deeply rooted in the love of Christ:
For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that he may grant you in accord with the riches of his glory to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner self, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the holy ones what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Revolution!
PREPARE
I have already introduced you to a priest-friend in New Boston, Michigan where the Divine Mercy message first began to spread in North America from his very parish. He receives visits from the Holy Souls in Purgatory each night in vivid dreams. I recounted this past December what he heard when the late Fr. John Hardon appeared to him in a special dream:
Persecution is near. Unless we are willing to die for our faith and be martyrs, we will not persevere in our faith. (See Persecution is Near )
This humble priest has also received recent visits from the Little Flower, St. Thérèse de Liseux, who has given a message, which I believe is for the whole Church. Fr. does not publicize these things, but confided them to me personally. With his permission, I am publishing them here.
WARNING FROM THE PAST
In April, 2008, the French saint appeared in a dream wearing a dress for her first Communion and led him toward the church. However, upon reaching the door, he was barred from entering. She turned to him and said:
Just as my country [France], which was the eldest daughter of the Church, killed her priests and faithful, so will the persecution of the Church take place in your own country. In a short time, the clergy will go into exile and will be unable to enter the churches openly. They will minister to the faithful in clandestine places. The faithful will be deprived of the "kiss of Jesus" [Holy Communion]. The laity will bring Jesus to them in the absence of the priests.
Immediately, Fr. understood that she was referring to the French Revolution and the sudden persecution of the Church which burst out. He saw in his heart that priests will be forced into offering secret Masses in homes, barns, and remote areas. Fr. also understood that several clergy were going to compromise their faith and form a "pseudo-church" (see In the Name of Jesus — Part II ).
Be careful to preserve your faith, because in the future the Church in the U.S.A will be separated from Rome. —St. Leopold Mandic (1866-1942 A.D.), Antichrist and the End Times, Fr. Joseph Iannuzzi, p.27
And then recently, in January 2009, Fr. audibly heard St. Therese repeat her message with more urgency:
In a short time, what took place in my native country, will take place in yours. The persecution of the Church is imminent. Prepare yourself.
"It will happen so fast," he told me, "that no one will really be prepared. People think this can’t happen in America. But it will, and soon."
THE MORAL TSUNAMI
One morning in December of 2004, I awoke before the rest of my family while we were on a concert tour. A voice spoke within my heart saying that a spiritual earthquake occurred 200 years ago in what is known as the French Revolution. This unleashed a moral tsunami which raced through the world and brought its devastation to a peak around 2005 [see my writing Persecution! ( Moral Tsunami) ]. That wave is now receding and leaving in its wake chaos.
To be honest, I didn’t even know what the French Revolution was. I do now. There was a period called "The Enlightenment" in which philosophical principles began to emerge, which viewed the world entirely from a perspective of human reason, rather than reason enlightened by faith. This culminated during the French Revolution with a violent rejection of religion and a formal split between the Church and State. Churches were ransacked and many priests and religious were put to death. The calendar was altered and some Feast days were outlawed, including Sunday. Napoleon, who defeated the papal army, took the Holy Father prisoner and in a moment of supreme arrogance, crowned himself emperor.
Today, something similar is taking place, but this time on a global scale.
THE FINAL CONFRONTATION
The moral tsunami which erupted 200 years ago has a name: the "culture of death." Its religion is "moral relativism." In all truth, it has destroyed a great deal of the foundation of the Church throughout the world except for a remnant of the Rock. As this wave now heads back out to sea, Satan wants to take the Church with it. The "dragon", who inspired the philosophical underpinnings of the French Revolution, intends to finish the job: not just a further widening of division between Church and State, but an end to the Church altogether.

As the wave started in Europe and finally reached its pinnacle in North America, it is now receding from the Americas until it returns again to Europe, sweeping away every obstacle in its path to allow the rise of a "beast," a global Super-State, a New World Order.

Of course, the greatest obstacle is the Catholic Church and her moral teachings, especially on marriage and the dignity of the human person.
A concrete sign of the beginnings of this Revolution came about suddenly on March 9th, 2009 in the American state of Connecticut in a "shot" over the bow of the Church. A legislative Bill was proposed to interfere directly in the operations of the Catholic Church by forcing bishops and priests to become a separate entity from the parish, instead placing in authority an elected board (a similar effort to democratize the Church was made in France with the The Law of the Civil Constitution of the Clergy [1790 A.D.] which forced both bishops and priests to be elected by the people.) Connecticut Catholic leaders felt it was a direct counter-attack to the Church’s efforts to prevent same-sex "marriage" in the state. In a rousing speech, the Supreme Knight of the Knights of Columbus warned:

PERSECUTION
The Fifth Seal of Revelation is persecution, which I believe will begin on various regional levels and will set the stage for the Great Persecution of the Church when the beast is given a mouth: when lawlessness culminates in the Beast, the "lawless one."
He shall speak against the Most High and oppress the holy ones of the Most high, thinking to change the feast days and the law. They shall be handed over to him for a year, two years, and a half-year. (Dan 7:25)
But remember this, dear brothers and sisters: when this spiritual earthquake shook the heavens two centuries ago, our Blessed Mother also appeared around that time.

These present times are nothing more than the final thrashings of the tail of a serpent who feels the heel of a Woman about to crush his head.

The winds of change blow —hasten now to prepare your cupboards, time is running out. All of My heavenly court are assembled. My great warring angels are amongst you protecting and guarding My faithful flock. There will be chaos, unrest, and great confusion. Nations align only to bring about a culture of death. Persecution is near. Pray for My priests for many are lukewarm and have been distracted. A great schism will rise. A great tidal wave of fear and injustice will give rise resonating in the east; the west will be shaken by great aftershocks. Natural disasters abound. More commercial and economic collapse will give rise to anarchy. The mighty lion roars and the bear has been set upon a path that will reap destruction and havoc. Prepare for anarchy and chaos. You must stay vigilant and determined, strong in your resolve.
The time of persecution draws close. Remember you are governed by My Spirit. Fear not. Revolution, persecution, many factions are forming… Tower of Babylon, tower of Babylon, from east to west, a new nation will rise to bring about only a culture of death and destruction. WHEN THE LEVEE BREAKS
I can hear the river calling. It doesn’t have to call loudly because I live close. In Missouri, everyone lives close to a river. Mine is the Meramec. Spring fed and clear it runs out of the Ozark Hills to the Mississippi. It’s a good place to swim, fish, hunt and think. Today, I’m thinking about rivers and people.
Even though they have different natures the rules that govern them have a lot in common.
It seems like we can’t leave rivers alone. The history of man is the history of rivers and our attempt to subdue them and harness their power. Sometimes we get it right. We play by the river’s rules. We use them in ways in harmony with their nature. We follow their rules because we are on their turf, so to speak. We let the river choose its path and work within it. We may build mills or farm the land but we do it within the laws that govern the river. If we want to live in peace with the river and profit from it we have to do it on the river’s terms, or else we will fail. Maybe not right away; but the river always wins; unless we make it something other than a river.
You see, that’s the problem with us. If we can’t control something we will do anything, even destroy it, to gain control. The Missouri river is a prime example. It’s been straightened, channelized, narrowed, dammed and dredged. We put in who knows how many wing dikes and levees. We had to control it. We needed to be its master. Now it is really a river in name only, a glorified storm water drainage canal in reality; but we still can’t control it. Not completely anyway. It still floods.
If you live by rivers long enough you soon learn that the one absolute rule of rivers is that they’re going to flood. All it takes is rain. This is an immutable part of their nature. We cannot change it no matter how hard we try. We think we can control it with levees and sandbags and water pumps. Sometimes we do, but really only if the river lets us. The river will always get back what belongs to it. It will consume the bottoms that it and it alone has claim to, washing away all of our petty attempts to claim them for ourselves. In just a matter of minutes the river can destroy years of work and dreams. It can destroy it because it has the right, because we intruded into its space, because we didn’t play by its rules; by God’s rules.
Mans history is also the history of our efforts to control others.
Just like rivers, we function inside a set of rules. These rules suit our nature. When those that govern us, by our authority, govern within these rules society functions smoothly. When the rules are respected we are able to work, create and play as we were intended.
Our government has decided that the rules that were intended to govern man place too many restrictions on their ability to control us. They’ve begun to build levees and wing dikes, to dam and to dredge. They think that if they can control our flow with limits on speech we won’t be able to argue against their unconstitutional abuse of power. They think that through eminent domain they can take our property to do with as they please. They can take away our right to privacy through wiretaps and monitoring internet traffic. They can intimidate and scare us so that we won’t exercise the freedom to say what we want when we want. They can limit our ability to defend ourselves and the means to do so. They limit our freedom to worship when and where we see fit. Where we can work, what we can do, which doctor we can see and for what, what our labor is worth and how much is really ours and how much belongs to the state. They will change our nature to control us. They would destroy us.
They have put themselves in the place of God, deciding how the game will be played.
But now, the rains have started; the river is beginning to rise. As long as it continues to rain, the river will continue rise. It will swell over the levees and the dams; it will inundate the bottoms. It will take back all that God intended it to have. Nature will be restored to its proper order. Those that would sit in Gods place will be swept away along with all of the other dead and rotting debris.

PURGATORIO
I'm tired.
I went to a Tea Party meeting tonight and listened to people talk about the healthcare plan, Medicare and pap smears. I heard talk about how Medicare was just not doing everything that it should and how Missouri may have a vote to abolish the real estate and personal property tax, if they can get enough signatures to get it on the ballot. I heard a woman complain that her husband's trip in an ambulance was not covered by her Medicare insurance even though the EMT thought he should go to the hospital.
The whole time I thought, "They just don't see it coming."
Our masters have got everyone focused on their own personal crusade, their own individual grievance, whether it be healthcare, cap and trade our anything else that looks inviting on the buffet. It's great that we are finally starting to get out in the streets, make some noise, but in the end, it really won't matter.
All of these normal expressions of political action won't matter when the banks close, the food is no longer on the shelves, we can't get fuel for the cars. When the entire support system that we have constructed to allow us to live comfortably and in relative safety disappears overnight, the number of pap smears that Medicare lets you get every year just isn't going to seem that important.
Even the politically active and aware can't imagine and don't understand where we are going.
In just a few generations, through greed, avarice, sloth and just plain damned not caring, we frittered away the single best political/economic system ever devised. A system of governing ourselves that I truly believe was a gift from God himself.
The Catholic Church teaches that before one enters the promised land he must go through a process of purification to clean his soul of the lingering effects of sin.
Because of our profligate and immoral lifestyle, America is about to enter Purgatory. We have much to cleanse from our national soul.

First, ___ All persons living in Jackson, Cass and Bates Counties, Missouri, and in that part of Vernon included in this district, except those living within one mile of the limits of Harrisonville, Hickman Mills, Independence and Pleasant Hill and Harrisonville, and except those in the part of Kaw Township, Jackson County, north of Brush Creek and west of the Big Blue, embracing Kansas City and Westport, are hereby ordered to remove from their present places of residence within fifteen days from the date hereof. Those who, within that time, establish their loyalty to the satisfaction of the commanding officer of the military station nearest their present places of residence will receive from him certificates stating the fact of their loyalty, and the names of the witnesses by whom it can be shown. All who receive such certificates will be permitted to remove to any military station in the district, or to any part of the State of Kansas except the counties on the eastern border of the State. All others shall remove out of the district.
Officers commanding companies and detachments serving in the counties named will see that this paragraph is promptly obeyed.
Second, ___ All hay and grain in the field, or under shelter in the district, from which the inhabitants are required to remove, within the reach of the military stations, after the 9th of September, next, will be taken to such stations and turned over to the proper officers there; and reports of the amounts so turned over made to district headquarters, specifying the name of all loyal owners and the amount of such produce taken from them. All grain and hay found in such district after the 9th of September, next, not convenient to such stations, will be destroyed.
Third, ___ The provisions of General Order No. 10 from these headquarters will be at once vigorously executed by officers commanding in the parts of the district, and at the stations not subject to the operations of paragraph first of this order, especially in the towns of Independence, Westport and Kansas City.
Fourth, ___ Paragraph 3, General Order No. 10, is revoked as to all who have borne arms against the government in the district since August 20, 1863.

I talk to a lot of people during the day. The conversation often moves toward the subject of the government. Most people seem to believe that something is drastically wrong. They don't know what because they follow only the main stream media, if anything at all. When I tell them that I believe we are at a critical moment in our nation's history, that we may be facing a time when the government discards the Constitution and takes control of of its people, nearly all tell me that it can't happen. that our military would never turn against the citizens, that the police will protect us, that neighbor would never turn against neighbor. All they need do is look to the past.
General Order #11 was issued by the same Federal Government that sits in Washington today. Coincidentally, the President at the time, just as today, hailed from Illinois. This order removed citizens from land that was rightfully theirs, without warrant, remuneration or due process. It took their homes, their possessions, their crops and in many cases, their lives. And what was their crime? They dared to disagree with the Federal Government. They spoke up. They fought back. They offered water to someone that just happened by their farm. They may have done nothing at all wrong. They just happened to live in an area that the government found it politically and militarily expedient to de-populate.
I think that it would be worthwhile to consider what the government is capable of. We are entering a time that may be more dangerous than any other time in our history. When backed into a corner the government is capable of barbarity. Missouri was in a state of war from 1854-1882. This was the third most fought over state in the country. Most of the fighting was done under the black flag. This is because the Federal Government executed all that took up arms against it in an attempt to terrorize the citizens into subservience. It dragged men from their beds at night and executed them in front of their families. It burned women and children out of their homes because a family member fought for the Confederacy. The government is capable of anything.
Start preparing for the unthinkable. Everything is about to change.

FLIM FLAM
Give this article a read and some serious thought. Maybe it's just my fascination with con-man stories, thanks to George C. Scott and "The Flim Flam Man", but boy does this have the ring of truth, or at least plausibility. It would sure explain a lot.

I've got to say that I don't think I have ever seen reaction to an article in the St. Louis Post Dispatch generate responses like these. Even with the decidedly biased reporting in the article. The unions and the progressives that support them have made a huge tactical error in punching Crispus (Kenneth Gladney) at the Carnahan event. Don't let 'em forget, America!

A day after a Russ Carnahan event led to the arrests of five participants and a reporter, University City High School — where U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill was set to hold a similar event on Tuesday– announced that the forum has been canceled.
The school district sent a news release this afternoon stating that the “reasons for the cancellation by the school district are due to concerns for the safety and security of its staff, community members attending the event, and for the students who would be on campus during that time.”
There is no word on whether McCaskill will find a new venue or keep a second town hall forum scheduled for later the same day in Jefferson County.
Either way, its hard not to notch the decision as a signal of the growing influence of the Tea Party coalition, who had succeeded at heckling Carnahan at two earlier meetings.
Although what the move portends for democracy — that citizens can’t gather for a public forum without fears of descending into fisticuffs? — may be up for debate.
The cancelation is sure to raise eyebrows in Washington, where many other lawmakers are bracing for tough meetings during the Congressional break.

“The nation’s largest federation of labor organizations has promised to directly engage with boisterous conservative protesters at Democratic town halls during the August recess.”
As a result, the townhall meeting with Russ Carnahan last night had union thugs preventing ordinary citizens from entering the building where he was speaking - with only union members being let in via a side door.
Consequently, area citizens were not only denied entry, but were beaten by these thugs - several taken to the hospital.
Mr. Wagman seems to infer that conservative individuals are responsible for this statement:
“Although what the move portends for democracy — that citizens can’t gather for a public forum without fears of descending into fisticuffs? — may be up for debate.”
Let me know who is engaging in ‘fisticuffs’ at these meetings; it’s certainly not those who have honest concerns about healthcare issues and desire to engage in their right to free speech…

5:01 pm August 7th, 2009Sounds like a convenient excuse for the good senator to dodge her constituents, for whom she has no intention of changing course on healthcare. Notice that there was NO violence at any of these events until the democrats rallied THEIR supporters to counterbalance “the mob.”
News flash, senator, “the mob” are We The People, and running away from us isn’t going to solve your most basic problem, which is:

5:44 pm August 7th, 2009I think people are upset with the extreme dishonesty of the Democrats who have tried to push through this awful piece of legislation. They tried to rush this through without any public input, and it would have destroyed the American healthcare system in favor of socialised medicine totally controlled by them. Now that people realize that virtually everyone with insurance presently is going to lose it in favor of a government-run, single-payer system, they are hopping mad.

5:51 pm August 7th, 2009The violence started when the union thugs were ordered in to intimidate those protesting ObamaCare. The videos show a ObamaCare supporter slapping a protestor in the face. Guys with SEIU shirts beating up a black man just trying to sell conservative flags and buttons. Six arrests, every one of them an ObamaCare supporter.
Stop trying to spin this as if the seniors and ordinary Americans protesting ObamaCare are causing the violence. You don’t control the news any more; maybe you should start reporting it fairly.

Look at Iran’s recent election and how the opposition was crushed. Look at Tianemen Square and how the Chinese dissidents were crushed.
